Polente Kafe is named after the lighthouse located at the far west end of the island. The lighthouse is the best place on the island to watch the sunset. Polente is the most popular cafee on the island. It’s like the heart of the island.
Once you get out of the ferry, it welcomes you with tables on the street, a giant barrel and the music that fits every hour of the day. A place to hang out all night and day. You may either try one of the wide selections of coffee or island wine.
You can order any liquor that is possibly available in a bar. A bonfire is lit outside in chilly air. The warm interior part is open in winter. Music features genres such as 80s, jazz and latin. Like they say: “Polente is a greeting-farewell point for the visitors of the island, it’s like an entrance gate.

The owner Hüseyin also owns a real estate agency for 15 years.
