Kaikias Hotel was opened in 2001 by an architecht couple who have been living in the island. The architechture and decoration simply indicate that the hotel wast built by professional hands. It reflects the cultural nature of the island, and carries the essence of its mythological name.

The hotel that remains beneath the castle, only 14 meters away from the sea. The one-storey stone house located right in front of it, is a multi-purpose arthouse/cafe. It’s a venue for different kinds of art activities, and with its capacity of 45 people, suitable for special meetings and dinings. It’s the official venue for Ilyada Readings that takes place for two days in every August.

Breakfast is served as buffet meal in Kaikias Art House. You may sit either indoor or in the veranda. Savory pastries, buns, cakes are cooked daily that one could attend from the outside.

Kaikias Hotel has 11 double, 5 junior suite, 4 vip rooms, and has a total capacity of 50 people.It’s well enlighted and airy with high ceilings. Greek furnitures and their imitations are used for the decoration. The beds with mosquito nets and consoles are charming.

There is a library with 118 books at the hotel. The books are from the people that lived in the island between the years 1758 and 1883.

You should reserve a room at hotel for the summer, since the demand is huge.
